Realme X grabs new update with April 2021 patch [C.19]

Realme X, the first smartphone in the X series from the company, which brought in the concept of pop-up front cameras to the mid-range smartphone has now reportedly started receiving a new update.

The new OTA update brings the March and April 2021 security patch, optimization of overall system stability, and fixes for some other known issues. The OTA carries the firmware version RMX1901_11_C.19 and is based on Realme UI 1.0 with Android 10.

You will receive a notification about the update when it is ready for your device, however, if you would like to manually check whether the update has arrived, head over to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update to check for any available for updates.

Realme has confirmed that the Realme X along with some other devices will receive the Realme UI 2.0 early access beta in the second quarter of 2021. Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 brings customization options to meet Gen Z’s rich imagination and creativity.

For a recap, the Realme X was launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, a 48-megapixel dual camera array, a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED Display, and much more.
